LPVEC provides school transportation services to six member school districts. These services include both regular and special needs transportation.  (For more information, see the Transportation page.)

Municipal Medicaid Reimbursement

Under federal law, school districts are eligible to receive payment from Medicaid for health services delivered to Medicaid-eligible children with disabilities. In addition, school districts can receive reimbursement for the transportation costs of such services and administrative costs including outreach for enrollment purposes and coordination and/or monitoring of medical care.  (For more information, see the Medicaid Reimbursement page.)

Cooperative Purchasing

The Collaborative offers cooperative group purchasing of nursing supplies, energy, custodial supplies, bus parts, oil and lubricants, school transportation vehicles, just to name a few.  (For more information, see the Cooperative Purchasing page.)
